You are able to receive a discounted rate at the AC Hotel Riga until Friday, 17 July. The room rate includes breakfast, coffee and tea making appliances in the room, WiFi and access to the hotel’s gym on the 11th floor.

If you prefer staying in an Airbnb or another hotel, we would advise staying in either the Centrs (Downtown) or Vecrīga (Old Town) areas of the city.
Getting around
From the airport
Riga Airport is approximately 15 minutes from the city centre by car, depending on traffic. The easiest way to get from the airport to your accomodation is to order a cab via Bolt. Uber does not operate in Latvia so please ensure you have downloaded Bolt before arriving. The fare will usually be around €10-15.
You may also hail a taxi from the arrivals. According to Riga Airport, “XTaxi”, “TaksiLV” and “Red Cab” are the taxis authorised to operate at the airport. Please be wary of the cab drivers that sit in the lane immediately outside the terminal in often unmarked cars. They may rip you off.
If you are feeling particularly adventurous upon arrival, you can also catch a bus from the parking lot that will take you to the city centre.
In the city
Riga is a very walkable city. The main tourist sights are scattered throughout Centrs and Vecrīga (Old Town) and can be visited by foot. For journeys further afield, we recommend calling a Bolt or renting a car.
Google Maps will reliably guide you throughout the city during your stay.
